Where can I find a stainless steel travel mug that has a stainless steel interior? I can't seem to find any stainless steel travel mugs that have a stainless steel interior. Most come with a plastic interior, which I don't really like. Where can I find the ones with stainless steel interiors?

Why should I use stainless steel cookware? I received a very nice set of stainless steel cookware as a wedding gift. While very pretty, Im finding them almost useless for cooking. Everything sticks, they're difficult to clean, and Im using my old non-stick pans instead. Should I simply leave the stainless out for decortive purposes, or are stainless steel pans better for some applications?

Are there any types of stainless steel that would not attract to a magnet? I recently purchased a supposedly stainless steel braclet on eBay but when I checked to see if it was attracted to a magnet, it wasn't. I used the magnet to verify it was truly stainless steel. I always thought stainless steel would be attracted to a magnet. Helmut mentioned that 300 series not readily attracted. Does not readily mean not at all, or just barely, or what?

How come a stainless steel draining board stinks of rotten eggs? I had the new kitchen installed 7yrs ago. I noticed an awful smell a little while ago. On investigating I found that it was coming from the draining board. It has been washed with Cif a few times a week and also at least 1 lot of dishes are drained on it every day! I can't understand how stainless steel can stink. The dishwasher is under it but I keep that clean and it is used once a day.Could the housing that it is in have rotted? Is it time to install a new stainless steel unit or another medium?

What thickness is required for a stainless steel counter top? I'm making a stainless steel counter top for a homemade bar. With plywood base underneath, what thickness do I need for the stainless? I've read that standard stainless kitchen counter top thickness is 16 gauge, but this won't be getting nearly that much abuse. Is 20 gauge OK or is that too thin?

Is stainless cutlery that is turning black bad for you? I have a set of stainless cutlery. Some of the spoons are turning a blue-black. Is this bad for you? And how can I get rid of the black? I know it is stainless because it says stainless on the back.

Can you have a stainless steel dishwasher with a white stove and frig? I know you can but all of our appliances are over 8 years old. Our white dishwasher just went out and I want to change everything to stainless steel. My husband said we can just get the stainless steel dishwasher and replace everything else as they die out. Dark yellow residue on stainless pots? Any ideas what it is and how I can get it off? The residue is on the sides of the ones I use most frequently. It's a dark yellow and almost like a resin on the outside sides only. I've tried using commercial stainless cleaner from a stainless pot manufacturer with no luck and I'm hesitant to try anything else for fear of scratching them. Any ideas how to get this off and how to prevent it in the future?

Should you "reseason" stainless steel cookware after the initial one you do when you buy it wears off? I've recently bought a stainless steel electric frying pan and in the guide it explained how to season it - which I did. I've used it a few times and the seasoning has pretty much worn off. How to prevent stainless steel getting rusty in the dishwasher? I have a Hotpoint SDW80 dishwasher. It's very good but on the normal program (the one I use the most) leaves the stainless steel like pots, cutlery and so on labelled 'dishwasher safe' rusty.
