How to fix a crazy electronic instrument panel?

I have a '91 Lincoln Continental with an electronic instrument panel, and some parts go blank sometimes, and it nearly always shows the tank full (went out of gas one time because of this). Is there any affordable way to fix this?

  1. Some time technology is not your friend. The electronic led dash board will cost as much as the car is worth to replace. Look at new cars lately? You might get lucky and find a used dash in a auto dismantler salvage yard wrecking yard what ever they want to be called these days.

  2. This is a fix that is beyond the capabilities of the usual do it yourself type. As much as I hate to say it, take it in and have it fixed.

  3. try a junk yard replace the instrument panel also check the gas tank the pick up flow in your tank may be bad

  4. A lot of the time when electronics on a car its due to a bad connection could be a plug or a ground.
