How to die my hair a darker color underneath?

I was wondering if anybody had suggested. I want to die my hair either a dark brown or black underneath like the old Christina Aguilera look. My hair is a mix of brown and blonde.. so what color black or dark brown? Also how do i do this does anybody have any suggestions? I'm doing it mysself. Also if you have any good refrence pictures Thanks for the help!

1. black.. and just tie that part up that you don't want dyed and then dye the bottom part. i just did it last week, but make sure you get the roots. because you don't want it to look skanky. but just saturate it alot


2. just clip all the top hair you don't want dyed or go to a salon, whichever.


3. well you part your and just dye the lower half of your hair.... i kno because you are doing exactly what i want to do with my hair except i want to dye the top half. and also i think that brown would look better than black.

You dhould dye your hair brown or black from the bottom it looks super cute plus a ot of girls have it like that includeing the tv stars.The way you do that is get your hair cut in long lyers then clip it and then dye it brown or black.I would get black it looks much more better my friend got it in brown it look so ugly she dyed it agin but that time in black and she loved it a lot she looked toldly like a new girl!plus get the roots to becase if you don't it would look like a hot mess trust me.


5. if you wanna dye it.. just put your hair up in a high ponytail. then put da dye where you want it


6. Well, if your hair is blonde and brown i would go a dark brown. i personally think black brown and blonde would be a bit much.

   But i have my hair like this. ive had it for a while im actually getting rid of it tommorw i will miss it so im sure that u will love it! =]

   i did mine at home multiple times. i always always pin my hair up. take a comb to try to get the straightest line go from the middle of your ears up and put it in a rubber band or whatever if you die anymore than whats left it looks trashy imo it helps if you pin foil around the pinned up hair. it looks dumb but trust me you dont want the brown to run. its not hard but i always think having someone help you like your mom or a friend helps.
