How far do you read into the bible before you suspect it is a grand fabrication?

About the first page, but then I went all the way through it and then beyond it, and I realized it wasn't; any notion of it being a grand fabrication is the result of a lack of education concerning it, and a persons lack of desire to understand it-- I notice most of the people who posted negative comments obviously never even made it past genesis. That's like a movie critic criticizing a movie he didn't even watch: idiotic.

14. I suspect that they are mythologies...most cultures teach through story-telling, and I don't see why the ancient Mediterarean religions would be any different...


15. That would be dependent on whether or not you were reading it as a basis for life or as a history book. It is not a fabrication from the historical point of view.

20. Hello Archy, if you feel that way you should read this book called The shack. It answers alot of questions you might have about religion and god without being all preachy and holier then thou.


21. yknow theres comes a certain point when people have crossed a line....oh its okay to joke on others beliefs all of a sudden?....since when is society so messed up that there is a war petty belief war that constantly takes place over the internet? my opinion is you 30 something year olds need to go get a damn day job and quit harassing other people...
