What is the difference between pipe plumber and pipe fabricator?

This for Oil, gas and petrochemical industry.

1. Pipe plumber works for sanitary system, while pipe fabricator works for process systems, i.e., power plant, chemical plant, petrochemical plant.


2. The answerer above said is correct BUT the pipe fabricator do fabricate the pipes according to the route and requirements such as making bends curves etc (using cutting torch etc) where as most of the case plumbers do install the ready made stuff (though there is cutting and trimming is involved) of sanitary systems.
