i am interested in inventing some kind of metal shed i just need the fabricator to work with me?
i have come up with some kind of an idea for a metal shed and i want to mass produce it . so where do i turn for a start? i was thinking of a custom metal fabrication company but they might not be the right choice for mass production

- I think you need a custom fabricator to make the first one. That will give you a unit you can photograph to get mass- builders interested in your idea. If they like it they can come and visit it to talk further. If they love it they can steal the idea and bring their version of it to China for mass-production without paying you any fees.
If you get that idea to the showing-off stage be prepared to spend money for a patent on the basic approach. Don't forget you can't patent anything that would be obvious to anyone skilled in that field so make sure your idea meets that test.
