Engineering and fabrication

If I apply for a job as a fabricator, do I have to tell lies on my job application?

Public Comments

  1. What a great question for the end of my Friday..

  2. kinda but not alot

  3. well of course!

  4. If you get caught lying on your application you WILL BE FIRED... so go ahead and lie away.

  5. YOU SHOULDN'T LIE TO ANYONE BUT A CHICK WHO'S PANTS YOU WANT TO GET IN..

  6. Not unless you intend to get fired from said job at the employers earliest convenience.

  7. LoL nice one mate ;) Made my night hehe

  8. If you have no previous experience as a fabricator and you're applying for a job as one, they will find you out within the first five minutes...and never lie on an app; they always find out.

  9. DONT LIE

    ever

    itll fuck you up eventually

just tell the truth, and then if you do get the job, you've earned it

and if you dont, then its a pity, but you'll be jobless with honor

  10. Don't even send one in. Just phone up and tell an elaborate lie about how they never saw the application you sent into them

  11. That's mandatory.

And the company will probably just figure "eh, what's the point?" re: a drug test.

    .

  12. Nice one very funny lol

  13. Do Not!!!!! lie on your job application. If you have no experience in the job you are applying for, just say that. You can also mention that you are intelligent, dependable, and willing to learn.

  14. what kind of lies, lol?

if it's anything related to criminal history or health, and they find out, you're gone.

and they will find out eventually.

  15. If you have done anything in your life you shouldn't have to lie about anything. I mean everyone does a little but make sure it won't come back and bite you in the ass... be careful and good luck getting the job =)

  16. I did not know that to enter into the primary elections there was an actual "job application"

And here I was performing sexual favors and now I find out there is an application.

    :(

  17. If you want the job i would'nt,do you or do you not know how to fabricate, also most employers look back 7 years into your back ground

  18. That depends on what you're lying about.... I think you can leave off all the extensive "I'm way smarter than the mexicans you usually hire" and just go on to the work experience...

And hey! if you lie then they know you're good at what you do! lol.

  19. Of course and you will most certainly get the job because that is what they want to see if you really are a good fabricator. Seriously, this is the truth. I know because I am the guy who reads the applications and decides if they get passed on to the CEO or the CFO or somewhere else. I can't remember the last one because I don't send many files to him or is it her, well them at least.

  20. That should be o.k. providing you do not steel the qualification certificates.

  21. tell them you're the most qualified fabricator out there

  22. they can easly find people for that kine of work, but finding an honest person on this kine of work can be hard.

  23. HAHAHAHAHA.. lol. ok, so it took me a second or three to =get= that question.

uhmm.. I'd think the bigger, the better! (fabrication! what did you think I meant?)

  24. LOL! So then lying on your application isn't something that everyone does regardless of job description?

Well, I'll be damned. Ya learn something new every day...

  25. LOL nice one

Yes and you must lie with a straight face during your interview =)

  26. well if you want to tell them you are a fabricator, and you have an certificate, you'll need to show them a legitimate certificate and then show them that you can do the job.

If you cant do it, you'll be out on your ass in 20 minutes - guaranteed.

  27. definitely...they'll want to see an example of your work.

    bb

  28. You walk into the interview and tell the interviewer, "Didn't they tell you up at the head office? I was hired for the job yesterday and I'm here to start. Wow! I couldn't believe what a great starting salary they gave me, too!"

No bothering with applications necessary. ;)

  29. yes, It is a test. So where it asks if you are male or female, and you put female, they will look at you and know you are the right person for the job.

Just don't acquiesce if they ask you to prove it.

    Blessings,

    Lady Morgana )0(

  30. You are the coolest person I know right now....I truly respect you

  31. I am here only to die of laughter.... Thank you stupid answerers, thank you asker.... and thank you clever answerers

    it doesnt exist

  32. of course..don't you know anything...

good job for a fabricator is the job of being the Jehovah's Witness who comes up with the next date for Armageddon.

  33. Just change your date of birth and add five more years experience. It has always worked well for me.... well.. until now.... suppose I better start changing my date of birth and put 10 years less experience....(nobody seems to want middle aged middle managers these days!)

  34. If applying to be part of politician team for public relations, why of course!
