How do you get the metal smell out of a stainless steel sink?
I just moved into an apartment and the stainless steel sink has a strong metal odor to it (you can smell it once you enter the kitchen). I've tried cleaning it with a stainless steel cleaner but it still smells. I HATE this smell and I have never had this problem with any other stainless steel sink. How do I get rid of it?

- stainless steel has no odor, it is some thing else.
- Pour some bleach or strong disinfectant down the waste pipe overnight
- Banditt is correct. Stainless steel has no odor. Try pouring bleach down your drain to see if this helps. The odor is coming from somewhere else.
