What is the best metal for motorcycle lowering links?

I want to buy a set of adjustable lowering links for a Hayabusa, and I've seen several different metals that are available, such as stainless steel, aluminum, etc. What's the safest, most reliable metal for lowering links? Are used lowering links reliable, or should you only buy new ones?

  1. mine are made of unobtianium good luck trying to find some

  2. Stainless is going to be stronger then aluminum. It's also going to add more weight if your concerned about that. That said, aluminum parts from a reliable source can be more then sufficient.

Never buy used suspension parts. You have no idea what they have been through and they are not worth the risk.
