What is the electronic genre about? What type of people listen to that genre?
I downloaded some free songs of the week from itunes of a genre called electronic. So what is that? Is that in reference to how it was produced? What type of people listen to electronic music?

I guess it's kind of a mix of techno, but without all the keyboards and stuff...it's kind of like The Killer's genre.

- Electronic music is music that employs electronic musical instruments and electronic music technology in its production. Basically electronic music is music that uses computers, synthesizers, and various electonic devices solely (with the addition of other instruments also). All kinds of people listen to electronic music, I don't really think that there is a certain type of person listen to electronic music. Various types of people listen to it, including myself and is very popular around the world,especially in Europe. The are played all the time in clubs and raves with countless sub-genres though, such as Techno, House, Electro, Acid, Trance.
