What is the best die cutting machine for a beginning scrapbooker?

I've just bought my first installment of scrapbooking supplies. (Paper, scissors, glue, and an album) I'm ready to move on to bigger and better things. I realized that I will need a die cutter which is the best? Also, a sticker machine would be best. I also need for it to be relatively inexpensive, but if I can't get that an expensive one is fine. Thanks.

  1. how fun...i found that I couldnt afford all those things so I tried to find something inexpensive that I could use for my scrapbooks... I finally ended up using coloring books instead of all the papers and embellishments... saved a whole lot of money and the pages are quite unique... for example I found a picture of a little girl with pigtails holding an ice cream cone... cropped my photos to fit the ice cream cone... its a great picture !! 2. Sizzix/The Big Shot

Don't ask me any more, I learn things like that from my Mum...

  3. I love the Creative Memories Custom Cutting System along with their shape makers! You can order them at the web address listed below. She is an authorized Creative Memories Consultant.

  4. Cricut is fairly new but most cutting systems are fairly expensive. I find going to my local scrapbook store and using their sizzix machine is much cheaper...they let you cut for free if you are using their paper. I would be careful about using coloring paper, sorry answerer #1. Just make sure its linguin and acid free before you use it with your pictures. You want your scrapbooks to last a good long time. I have the xyron sticker maker, It's inexpensive and works really well. You can get it at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Have Fun and enjoy your new hobby. I love it.
