Engineering and fabrication

What are some good universities for a career in engineering?

I live in Houston,TX and I am interested in becoming an engineer in either Biomedical Engineering or in Computer Engineering, can someone help me find good schools in which I can get a degree in these interest? P.S:I would prefer to go to a school near home, but I will consider any school you know of.

  1. The two best engineering schools that I know of are Purdue University, located in West Lafayette, Indiana, and Stevens Institute of Technology, in Hoboken, New Jersey. Both specialize in engineering, and are rated in the top ten nationwide for their work. Personally, Stevens Institute would be my choice, as it is solely a school for engineering, while Purdue is a general state instituition with a specialty in engineering.

  2. I know of a couple other good engineering schools. Ohio Northern University in Ohio and LeTourneau University in Longview TX. I know someone who got a double engingeering degree from LeTourneau.
