How do you die from cutting your wrist or arm?

How do you die from cutting your arm ? I have heard about this before but i never heard anyone dying from this action.. So how exactly do you die other then cutting your veins. And say, if a person feels the spot they're going to first and they feel no line , aka vein and they cut that spot do they still have a chance of dying? I was just wondering because my cousin has a friend that cuts.

3. yes you can die from it.it can get infected and bleed.cutting is wrong in god's eyes.why people do that i will never know.they are abusing themselves,i hope your cousin finds happiness with god instead of cutting.you need to stand in the gap for that friend and let them know that what they are doing is deadly,and morally wrong,and be there for them.Talk about their problem with them and help them get help.

5. watch degrassi but from what i have heard severing the artery in your wrist will kill you and if you don't put pressure on it you could bleed to death! please don't try to kill ur self.


6. well if you cut a little to deep and don't cover the cut you will slowly start bleeding to death. or it can get infected and you could get diseases

8. cutting your forarm you cant die unless you cuz you know really deep and u lose to much blood.. but i believe you can onle cut ur veins like in your wrist area and other places..


9. its not the cut that kills you...its the blood loss that kills you thats why slitting you wrist on a major vein is so bad because its cutting off circulation for one thing and letting all your blood out
