Engineering and fabrication

Can anyone help me prepare for a precision machining competition?

I am going to compete in precision machining this year, and I need to prepare. There is a milling part (milling, flycutting, drill, reaming , tapping ect.) and a lathe part (filing, drilling, tapping, turning, facing, knulring, ect.) The website does not provide actual past projects, so can anyone help me prepare; maybe by emailing me some projects/ drawing/ blue prints

  1. If you are a competent machinist, there is no need to prepare.

The competition is on a website?

Or you actually going to operate the machinery?

A project I built last year is a giant aluminum protractor.

It was modeled after a Starrett protractor.

The Starrett protractor is about 6 inches long by 3/4 inches thick.

Mine is 14 inches log by 2 inches thick.

    200 plus hours to make.
